FAQ

Good news, you don't need any equipment. Indeed, there are a variety of exercises that can be done without equipment using your body weight and are just as effective as with equipment. Our coaches are creative and have more than one trick in their bag! If you have access to equipment (e. g. home gym, gym in a condominium tower, free weights, etc.) that's great! Let our team know: during the initial evaluation, your coach will review the available equipment and adjust the training routine accordingly.

How do the training sessions take place?

Training lasts 60 minutes. They start with a dynamic warm-up of about 5 to 10 minutes to gradually increase the heart rate and move the joints and muscles to avoid injuries. Thereafter, training takes place differently according to the training objectives chosen (cardiovascular endurance, balance, tone, weight loss, muscle strengthening, posture, etc.). Some people decide to improve their running performance, others decide to improve the strength of their lap belt. Cardiovascular and muscle strengthening exercises will be selected by your kinesiologist according to your needs and objectives. The Kina Move team is renowned for its great adaptability. In addition, the training program is continuously reviewed to diversify the exercises and allow you to achieve your objectives.

Once the training is over, a stretching session is recommended to promote recovery from physical exertion and improve muscle flexibility!

If I have physical limitations, can I train with Kina Move?

Of course! Of course! We work with a wide variety of clients (symptomatic and asymptomatic) and our experienced coaches adapt to your situation. In fact, our coaches are all trained in kinesiology, which allows them to design customized programs. Back problems, osteoarthritis of the knee, joint problems, fitness after surgery, recovery from stroke? Don't worry about it! Trust our qualified team!

There is no specific age to be able to do training with Kina Move. We have experience with young children and older people! We believe it is important to be physically active at all ages and at all stages of our lives.

How old do I have to be to train with Kina Move?

All our trainers have experience and university training in kinesiology, the science of movement. A kinesiologist is a "health professional, a physical activity specialist, who uses movement for prevention, treatment and performance purposes" (Fédération des kinésiologues du Québec, 2012). Our kinesiologists are therefore able to assess physical capacity, analyze movement from the various points of view of physical activity sciences, and prescribe physical activity programs adapted for recreational purposes, prevention, rehabilitation, or high-level performance research. It is very important for Kina Move to hire dynamic and competent coaches!

What training do Kina Move coaches have?

Kina Move accepts cheques, cash, and bank transfers over the Internet. In order to facilitate payments, we offer invoicing every 2 or 4 weeks.

When the service agreement is signed, we issue an official invoice to our customers.

What payment methods are accepted?

Are the packages refundable in the event of termination of the contract?

In order to offer flexibility to our customers, all our packages are refundable.

If you terminate the contract after the merchant (Kina Move) has started to perform his main obligation, you only have to pay:
(a) the price of the services provided to you, calculated at the rate stipulated in the contract; and
(b) the lesser of the following two amounts:

- $50,

- or an amount representing at most 10% of the price of the services that have not been provided to you.

Are you going on vacation? Do you have an impediment? NO problem. You can postpone your sessions to another date. However, it is important to inform our team at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise we will be forced to charge the session.

Can I train with someone else? (e.g. my spouse, sister, friend, children) 

Of course! Of course! Would you like to share the pleasure with someone? We understand! Group training has never been easier! In order for our coaches to be able to adapt the training to the people present, however, it is mandatory that all people present at the training have first made an evaluation with our coaches.
